ME 262 Jet Fighter In Bomb Crater
Messerschmitt 262 a jet fighter has been found in a field near Deelen airbase, Arnhem, the Netherlands in the month of October 2014. This jet was shot on the 12th of September 1944 near the village Elden by the Germans who later took the wrecks and dumped it in a bomb crater to hide it.
German Submarine
The U-550, one of the last undiscovered German submarine has been found at 70 miles south of Nantucket, Massachusetts, USA. It was one of those German warships which were used to fire and black out the coastal cities.
In April 1944, the U-550 fired shots at the SS Pan Pennsylvania which was sailing towards Great Britain carrying about 140,000 barrels of gasoline. The crew on board U-550 abandoned the sub when it was heavily damaged. Since then its location had been a mystery for upcoming 70 long years.

The Nazi Gold Train
In the April of 1945, when the WWII was almost on the verge of ending, the Nazi forces were quite sure that the war was not in their favor. To safeguard their remaining treasure, the Nazis loaded a train with this treasure including gold and sent it on a trip through the Owl Mountains, where it disappeared. The train did not reach its desired destination and there are speculations about it being looted on its way. Due to its sudden disappearance, the train was named the Nazis Ghost Train.
Foo Fighters
During World War II, the United States Air Force witnessed some strange happenings in the sky. These were some fireballs kind of lightning which appeared in the sky. These mysterious fireball-like objects were termed “foo-fighters”. These were assumed to be the mysterious secret weapons being employed by the Axis forces. What they were is still not known.
The Disappearance of Flight 19
Shortly after the end of the World War, the disappearance of flight 19 is a mystery. The flights were quite notable as they helped to establish the legend Bermuda Triangle. While training over the infamous ocean, 5 Grumman TBM Avenger torpedo bombers lost their contact with the tower. A flying boat named Martin PBM Mariner was appointed to search for these lost flights itself disappeared. No missing remains of the pilots or the aircraft have ever been discovered.
Hitler’s Globe
Hitler gained worldwide attention through Charlie Chaplin’s film The Great Dictator. It is believed that Hitler had an enormous globe with a strong antique wooden base in his office. A Columbus factory manufactured that globe was one of the most prized possession of the Hitler. But after the end of the war that globe was nowhere to be found. Many relate the globe sold in an auction to be that of Hitler but there is no evidence to prove the same.
