Speechless
The women had absolutely nothing to say to each other. They were meeting for the first time and when they could have talked for hours, they were just not able to absorb the moment. It was an emotional one. They were just living their presence next to one another.
Birth Parents?
While they both had nothing in common at the current stage, the only thing which connected them was their birth parents. Though they had no whereabouts of them, all they knew was that Michele was adopted on October 14, when she was just 5 months old and Allison was adopted on October 16.
How Can They
Allison presented her outrage and said, “I keep thinking, how could [the adoption agency] do this to people? They were playing with fate, I don’t understand it.” Even Michele agreed to this and said that the agency had just messed up their childhood when they could have been living together as sisters.
A Fresh Start
The women decided to leave back the past and cherish every moment of their togetherness now. Michele couldn’t wait to know more and more about her sister, Allison. To both of them, it was just so surreal, but they knew that it was all very true.
His Amazement
When Lisa shared the tale of the sister’s reunion to Tim Wardle, the film-maker for Three Identical Strangers, he was just amazed. He couldn’t believe how his movie had inspired a woman to do something like this. He said, “I’ve been struck by how instinctive, magical, and moving genetic reunions can be,”
Just Transcendent
One can only describe the sisters’ reunion as a transcendent event. Two women who never met before had no clues about each other existence, connected so instantly. The mere highlight that they shared the same DNA, brought two strangers closer like never before. This was just beautiful.
