“I just started laughing and I ran out of my room and went and found her in my building,” said McKenna. Luckily, Deanna wasn’t far from her daughter’s room as it was on the same floor. Deanna picked up her luggage and rushed out from that room of which she had no idea whom does it belong to.
An Embarrassing Mix-Up
“I am in the wrong dorm omg,” Deanna texted back to her daughter. She realized that her surprise has now become a joke that everybody would laugh about later. “I felt sick to my stomach because I’ve already said hi to several people in the dorm and they probably have no idea who I was,” Deanna said.” “I thought, ‘Oh, my gosh, I didn’t even look at the name of the building. I could be in the wrong building.’” Deanna added further.
“Is That My Pillow?”
“It was a friend in my building; it was just down the hall so it wasn’t too bad but it was pretty funny,” explained McKenna. “She didn’t find out until today, actually. She commented on it [the picture] and was like, ‘Is that my pillow?’” McKenna added further. Deann was embarrassed by it but her daughter was laughing about it like anything. She even posted about the incident on T00witter. But the response wasn’t something she was expecting.
Spreading Like Wildfire
“Momma Pilling at it again,” wrote McKenna as a caption in her Twitter post. She posted the text exchange between her and Deanna. The photo soon went viral and was retweeted 16,000 times. Both Deanna and McKenna were in shock after seeing the response they got on the post. “We weren’t expecting anything of it, I just thought friends and family would see it but now it’s completely gone everywhere, ” said McKenna.
Always Doing Something
“She’s full of surprises so I’m sure there will be more, I don’t know if they’ll get as big as this one did but she’s always got surprises up her sleeves,” McKenna said about her mother. Even though it was a very genuine confusion that could happen to everybody but still Deanna was regretting everything.
Her Mother’s Response
After the post went viral her mother who was the star if the story was really embarrassed about everything. She just wanted to surprise her daughter and it was her who got surprised after went in the wrong room. As we told you she has been on the campus before but still, she got lost and entered a stranger’s room.
