The Saviors

“I signaled for him and everything else, and he came over here saying, ‘You’re the one they’re looking for,’ and [I said,] ‘Yes sir, I guess so.'” Told the people who noticed Austin on the riverside.

Proud Rescuers

“I just grabbed him, picked him up and didn’t want to let him go. It’s a blessing, just a big blessing. The Bohanan family was always there to serve food, to serve cold drinks, and it was a huge morale boost to our searches. So I want to thank them for that,” the ranger who was involved in the mission.

The Ultimate Moment

“[I] waved them down [and] hollered at them,” remembered Austin who told the rescuers that he is the one they all were looking for. Would you like to know what this young braveheart went on becoming?

The Ranger

“Why I thought he was alive: He was young, he was in shape, there was all kinds of water out there, the weather wasn’t 10 degrees below zero. And so if he was in those areas, I felt confident he could still be alive,” said the ranger.

Marines

“We are so grateful for all the love, prayers and support from everyone!” stated his aunt Carrie Bohanan. “I serve an almighty God! Praise be given unto him! Please LORD bring our boy back to us some way or another.” Brooke Bohanan posted on Facebook. Well, Austin joined the U.S. Marines after completing his studies.
