Hubert was looking for wild ginseng; a herb that’s found in abundance in eastern North America. They were not looking for it to use it rather sell it in the market. This is not a common herb and it can be sold for up to $600. Across the globe, it is only grown in parts of America and China. It is usually used in energy drinks and medicines. But there was one problem.
Illegal
Well, the park authorities never allow anyone to take herbs from the park. But people somehow manage to escape the checkings and slip it out of the park. So, it wasn’t a fun trek but a search for the wild ginseng. Well, before they could actually get their hands on the herbs that they were looking for, the duo lost the track of each other.
The Fateful Day
While they were hiking, Hubert misplaced his glasses somewhere near the stream. That’s when Hubert decided to head back and check where exactly he had dropped his glasses. Meanwhile, Austin was going to continue his search for the wild ginseng. It was just the start of all the trouble.
Looking Together
“It will be hard for Hubert to find out the glasses with such bad eyesight,” this thought crossed Austin’s mind and he decided to help his stepdad find his glasses first. They both started to look in different directions and reached far away.
Where Is My Son?
Hubert soon noticed that Austin was nowhere close to him. He started calling out for him but there was no reply. For hours he kept on looking for his stepson but he was nowhere to be found. He was quite confident that Austin was nearby and he can find him all by himself without any help. Sadly, that never happened.
Keeping It A Secret
Surprisingly Hubert was so overconfident that he will find his stepson easily that he did not inform the authorities about the incident for the next two days. Yes, he kept on looking for him but couldn’t find him. With every passing moment, the situation was getting more and more serious and out of Hubert’s control.
