The job of a mom is the most difficult and demanding on earth. It should not be called a job may be, because these moms don’t get paid financially, but they do get rewarded with their children’s love. Many supermoms handle work and home together and that too impeccably. We can only wonder how they manage their work and household and manage children on top of that. Motherly instinct is so strong that it sometimes drives women to take actions which are questionable by the standards of the society. But these women do not think twice when it comes to providing for their family and they literally, do anything for it.
The Single Supermom
One of those women was 34 years old, Paige Birgfeld. This mother of 3 kids had been through two divorces already and just one is enough to wreck someone emotionally and mentally. However, Paige pulled it together and looked after herself and her children even after she had been through a great ordeal. As a mother, she did all for her kids- made sure they went to school and were able to take up the sports they desired. For this, she went through several jobs to support the family. However, Paige was living a secret life which no one knew about and it put her entire family at a great risk.
Children First
Not only was Paige doing multiple jobs, she was also managing her household. She could not afford a help so all the tasks of cooking, laundry and cleaning fell on her. She was also responsible for driving her kids to school and extracurricular activities after school. They all slept in the same bed together and the mother made sure that she was available for her kids whenever they needed her. She prioritized her kids’ happiness over hers and even the other women around her were awed by her being able to handle her kids and jobs so well. They were not aware of the secret life she was leading.
Envious Work Ethic
It was unbelievable how this supermom managed so many things at once and that too efficiently. Her friends envied her multitasking skills, which she took too whole another level. She was goals, as a single mom and inspired many women around her to buckle up and face life’s challenges. Paige did many jobs to make money among which were selling baby slings and Pampered Chef products. She was also known to flip houses to get more income in order to be able to pay bills.
Schemes Did Not Work
In order to support her family, Paige thought of various money-making ventures that could bring in some extra income but they never seemed to work out. Even though her schemes failed, her hopes did not and she kept coming up with new ideas. She thought of babysitting as she was already experienced in raising three kids and taking care of more would not cause much trouble. She also thought of breeding dogs and selling the pups but bringing more children or dogs seemed like it would make her life messier. What other things could she do?
An Exotic Past
Friends always encourage us to follow our passions or make a career out of our talent and a long time ago that is what Paige decided to do. Dancing was Paige’s passion and when she was young she started pursuing it. She wanted to teach her children how to dance too and failing continuously at other jobs, she decided to open a dance school.
Actually, in her 2os, Paige used to be an exotic dancer and stripper in the city of Denver, Colorado at a place named Mile High Saloon where she had been earning $400,000 a year. But then she left the work.
