Cane Corso Italiano
The Cane Corso Italiano is a breed which originated in Southern Italy. They are pure guard dogs. Known for its loyal and easily adaptable nature, this dog very easily gels up with children and family members. Apart from being very brave and majestic, they are known to be highly intelligent.
Boerboel
Though this dog may not look very intimidating, once it senses danger around he can turn into a very aggressive and brave dog. They need proper training in order to be taught to behave properly, as they can act in a very unpredictable manner and can be very dangerous for the strangers. But, once trained they prove to be a very loyal and protective dog.
Newfoundland
The Newfoundland is very loyal and obviously as one can see in the image are a very adorable breed of dogs. They have the unique ability to be wonderful swimmers credit to their extremely powerful lungs. They are not particularly meant to be kept as guard dogs but are always ready to risk their lives in order to protect its master from possible danger.
Caucasian Shepherd
Caucasian Shepards look intimidating but are very adorable and sweet in nature. Its just that proper training needs to be given to them in order to channel their basic aggressive nature. They don’t trust anyone very easily and take some time to gel up with their owner. But, once done they are very loyal and use their strength for their master’s safety.
Greater Swiss Mountain Dog
This dog originated from the Alps. Also known as “The Swissy,” this dog has a natural pack instinct. He is a true leader and takes complete care of those smaller and younger than him. Because of the way it was bred and originally raised this dog makes for a perfect hiking and camping partner.
Norwegian Elkhound
This is a historic breed of dogs. As the name suggests, The Norwegian Elkhound originated from Norway in the 11th Century. This dog has a very good physique and is very strong. It is very brave and is best for a family who believes to be active and full of energy.
