Weird Behaviour

Whereas Adam was literally shaking with tension, Raquel was all calm. They reached the hospital and Adam called his mother. Right now his mother was the only one he could put his trust on. But his mother too took Raquel’s side. She said the same thing. Raquel was his wife and he loved her very much. Thereafter the doctor came and told him the root cause of all his problems. 

Answer In The Past

The origin of his problems traces back to 2011 when the man used to work for AT&T in Lubbock, Texas. Adam who was 35 at that time had freshly got divorced from his first wife.  The man had two children with his first wife. In order to fight the bitterness resulted from his past marriage, he decided to start dating again. But this decision of his met with a horrible end.

Not A Good End

After some time the woman he was dating got violent with him and struck a heavy blunt object at the back of his head. Her brutality did not end there. After hitting him so hard, the woman tied him with the rafters. No need to say, Adam got badly injured.

Coma

Fortunately, the man was found in time and was taken to the hospital. His condition was so bad that his heartbeat stopped thrice. However, the doctors managed to resuscitate him each time. Despite that, the man fell into a coma that stretched for four months. And then when he finally woke up he was a different man. He could not recognize his first wife and two children. All the memories were erased from his mind.

Prolonged Treatment

Adam had to spend a year in the hospital to get fully recovered. The situation was so worse that Adam had to relearn basic things like talking, walking and other rudimentary tasks. It was after months of learning the basic tasks doctors allowed him to go home. Though his physical wounds were healed, he still could not remember anything about his past and his family. He lamented, “How could a father, a dad, forget his biological children?”

It’s Strange

Nothing looked familiar to him. His house, his first wife, his kids all had become a part of forgotten past now. They showed him his photographs but unfortunately, they too were of no help. The man so wanted to remember his past but fate had some other plans for him. Adam decided to relocate to Arizona to start a new life.
