SimranMalignant Tumor
It is generally termed as malignant tumor as it arises in mesenchymal cells, where abnormal fat cells in deep tissues multiply in number in an unregulated manner. Hence, causing a big lump of mass in the limb or abdominal area. It can rarely become into a large mass but in the case of Kavin, it had worsened due to lack of proper diagnosis.
Causes
This kind of cancer is very rarely found in people, at most 1% among all the newly found cancers. They are known to develop from the deeper fat tissues. It is unknown what triggers this type of cancer but the research is going on to know exactly the root cause of the same. So it was fairly a big risk in front of the doctor who was handling Kavin’s case.
Signs To Look Out
As the cancer is not one of the commonly found cancer so there should be some certain signs to look out to avoid further complications. Basically the symptoms depend upon the location of the tumor but still one should get alert if he/she feels growing lump under the skin especially when it is causing pain.
Other Signs
One should be aware if he/she feels fatigued most of the time or weakness. Chest pain is one of the prominent signs that might indicate cancer development. Most importantly if the person feels difficulty in swallowing or difficulty in urinary this might be the indication for the same. In such cases, one should visit the doctor on a priority basis if he/she feels the pain frequently.
Kavin’s Case
The Surgery started at the stipulated time in the Lenox Hill Hospital. It was the first time that Kavin was anxious and nervous.
