A Race Against Time
The man had many questions on his mind. What if the baby would not survive. He had no idea how long the baby was in the water. He had to reach to the shore as quickly as possible. The time was running out of his head. The baby was still unconscious.
A Quick Recovery
Hutt took the baby to the campsite. His wife too was as astonished as Hutt was. They immediately removed his wet clothes and covered him with a warm drape. Luckily, the boy began to recuperate soon. Hutt was not late.
Damp
The baby when brought was very damp. Despite that, he was doing great. However, the boy had caught some cold. After having the baby back to health, Hutt began to search for his parents.
A Frantic Search
Luck was on the side of Hutts. The beach did not have much crowd and there happened to be only one couple with a baby. Hutt’s wife paced towards their camp. Hut remembered, “She ran to the tent and just shook it and asked, ‘where’s your baby – we just pulled one from the sea’ and the mother just screamed,”
A Lucky Boy
Hutt went further, “He was floating at a steady pace with a rip in the water. If I hadn’t been there, or if I had just been a minute later I wouldn’t have seen him.” “He was bloody lucky, but he just wasn’t meant to go; it wasn’t his time.”
Purple With Cold
The boy had gone purple. He looked cold and smaller in size. Perhaps because of the cold, he had caught. Jessica and Jon saw him in the park’s reception. Jessica can never forget that moment. She remembered, “he was breathing, he was alive.” She immediately took him in her arms and gave him a “big hug”.
