Historical Value

Colin was hopeful that he would get good money out of it as it did hold historical value. However, his perception changed when he consulted an expert. The professional told him that the sword did not have much value in terms of money but was of great significance as far as the historical value is concerned. So, there was no point selling it off, What was he going to do?

Donating It

The man decided to donate it. He gave it away to the local museum. He made a wise decision indeed as selling it off would not have made him a rich man. He wanted people to know about its history and value. The museum was more than happy to put that sword up on display.

Shutting The Well

So what happened to the well? Leaving the well open was not a wise option so he decided to build a special cover for the well. He did not want anyone to fall in it.

Still Fascinated

Colin is very happy about the discovery he had just made. He exclaimed, “I love the well and think it’s fascinating.  I’d love to find out who was here before us.  I’ve got a piece of Plymouth’s history in my front room.” But not everyone thinks the same. For example her wife………..

Not The Same Feeling

So what does Veness think? She opened up, “I hate the well.” “But I suppose it is quite a feature. When we come to sell the house, I just hope it’s not a white elephant in the room.”
