The auction has all sort of things that are put on auction, from retired police equipment and accessories to used police cars ( he didn’t buy a police car). According to the data collected from the US Treasury Department, over 300 treasury auctions take place every year in the United States alone.
Because the auction is done by a professional, they even grade the stuff from brand new to used ones. The police department symbolizes honesty and they make sure that before you buy anything you always have a choice to inspect it. They also mark the stuff if its faulty or have some issues with it. What a nice auction, right? But it was this guy who stole the show and lived to tell about it. Who would have imagined that he will find something this big hidden inside a car?
He Made The Decision
He was very confident about the auction. His instincts were telling him that it’ll be a life-changing decision but this big, he wasn’t ready for that. We, normal people with normal lives and normal earnings don’t ask for big things in life and even he didn’t. He went to buy a second-hand car from a local police auction with only one thought in his mind, not a great deal but a good deal and worth investing his money on. But you know what is the best thing about life? It is the unexpected turns of events. Life puts you in a right place at right time. All of this gives us hope and we trust the process that is life again. Deep, right? Let’s go deep into this story and you’ll be amazed to see how things turned out for this guy.
The Process And The Paperwork
He couldn’t sleep the night before the auction because of all the excitement and because of that, he was up early and imagined all the process in his mind the way he wanted it to go. He went to the auction an hour before to sense the atmosphere around it. Basically, he was wishing that he might get a look at the cars that will be on auction soon. Sadly, life wanted him to surprise. The auction was in process and he found his car, a nice looking Jeep (better than a police car). He was finished with all the paperwork and it was time take it for a ride. He was getting into his car but there was something that didn’t make any sense to him.
Look Hard!
After all the wait he was now a proud owner of a Jeep and was on his way back home when he was done with the auction. He was getting inside the jeep when he noticed something. The left door of the gate wasn’t shutting properly and even after thumping and smashing it hard it didn’t fit properly as it should. He felt like he made a mistake because now he has to put an extra money on this door too and he was short on money. He thought this was a mistake but it was about to change his life forever.
Any Other Options?
He went inside the office where he did all his paperwork to tell them about the left door of the jeep. In a police auction, they do tell you about all the faults before you buy anything. But they didn’t tell him about the door to him and he felt like being cheated. He told the officer about it and they told him that nothing can be done as there is no other way to help him. He was very disheartened by the turns of events and went back to his jeep and looked at it which was staring him back. What next? The next is something he wouldn’t have imagined.
Not So Happy
He was getting frustrated that nothing can be done now. He has already spent almost his money and now he has to put some extra for the door. He was sitting on the bumper and couldn’t figure out his next step. He wanted a car so much and now when he has it he can’t enjoy it to the fullest. There is something good in every bad, we all just have to find it. He will soon find it out.
