Worldwide Attention

So within a few amounts of time, Richard had already been popularized as “Little Hercules.” The little boy who had trained ever since he was just 2 years old was now a household name. There were so many people asking and questioning who and what Richard was all about. He even starred in a documentary called ‘The World’s Strongest Boy’ that revolved around his daily routine.

Growing Concerns

There were a few concerns that started to grow on people after the documentary was aired. Many people found it absolutely shocking to find out that the little boy had zero percent of fats in his body. As a growing child, this was in no way good for his body. There was also a concern for the boy as he was clearly training too long each and every day. He had no time for himself.

Questions Are Raised

So when more people watched the documentary about Richard, there were so many people raising questions about the boy’s state of health both physically and psychologically. Since he was pushed to the extreme and controlled too much, there were some people who suspected that it may be too extreme. He clearly had no social life or social experience which is equally important for a boy his age.

Zero Fat Percentage

As we are all aware that having a zero percentage of fats in our body is not healthy, it would certainly not be good for little Richard too. There were so many people who began to question if Richard was actually using testosterone or other performance-enhancing drugs. A growing kid should not have zero fat in him. This would hamper the child in the later stages of his life.

Richard Responds To The Suspicions

So since the public was getting a little too outspoken about their concerns, there was a need for Richard to clear the air. So he soon responded with a statement where he claims that although his dad did partake in training and molding him, he had never been forced or pushed against his own will. He wanted to make it clear that he was not confined.

Mixed Responses

He made it clear that he had never been put under dangerous situations, that he had always had a say in the way his trainer and father took care of him. But even the trainer that he and his dad hired spoke about Richard, claiming that his dad did push him to an extreme. The statement that the trainer issued proved to be true as his dad was later arrested for domestic abuse.
