Surviving
Cheeto took a lot more than expected time to recover but the CMA team kept it in the safe environment unless it will be ready to be left back in the open ocean. It was for months that this sea horse’s health stayed just on the brink of life and death.
Fighting Against All Odds
To everyone’s surprise, Cheeto turned out to be a fighter. After all, how often you hear that a marine animal dropped from a seagull’s mouth surviving that long? Well, it wasn’t long before people actually noticed this distinctively cute seahorse.
Live Cam Recovery
The CMA folks decided to put Cheeto under live cam. This made each and every move of the little seahorse visible to everyone who visited the CMA center. People were fascinated to see the orange color seahorse instantly became famous in the town.
Fan Following
“I’d wake up in the middle of the night just to make sure he was OK”, told one of the Cheetoh’s fans who watched the live stream. All thanks to the live streaming, people felt a strong connection with this seahorse. His videos were overloaded with views. But was he actually improving? At the end of the day, the seahorse wasn’t supposed to live in the small habitat for its whole life.
Cheeto Changed Color
After a bit of recovery, Cheeto surprisingly changed its color to yellow. Well, that’s one of the features of these sea monsters. They can change colors according to their environment. People were so attached with this little creature that they wanted to get each and every update about him.
Feeling Better
Within a couple of weeks, the seahorse was completely active and ready to head back to the oceans. Atl east that’s what its fans wanted but the CMA folks were yet to decide anything. They didn’t want to take any risk with its life.
