‘Law & Order’ Cast: Then & Now!!

Dennis Farina portrayed the character of Detective Joe Fontana who had acquired the position of Senior Detective after Lennie Briscoe in the year 2004. Dennis appeared on TV shows like “Luck”, “New Girl”, and left the show “Law & Order” in the year 2006. Unfortunately, he died in the year 2013 due to pulmonary embolism.

Andrea Navedo portrayed two different characters, firstly that of Detective Ana Cordova from the year 2001-2004 and then Cynthia Mancheno in “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” for three episodes in the year 2013. Presently, she can be seen acting along Will Smith in a Netflix film named “Bright.”

Ice-T appeared in the show as Detective Odafin “Fin” Tutuola, a man with experience of working in the narcotics unit. His character was introduced on the show in Season 2. Ice-T has done various movies and TV shows and was seen in  “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” in the year 2016. He has also been working on a music collaboration.

Belzer has worked in shows like “Homicide: Life of the Street,” “Arrested Development,” and “30 Rock.” He was last seen in the show “Law & Order” in the year 2013. Since then he has not done any movie or TV shows apart from featuring in an episode of “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.”

Peter Gallagher came very late on the show playing the character of Deputy Chief William Dodd, in the year 2014 and eventually leaving the show in 2016. The show gave his career a boost and since leaving it he has featured in numerous movies and TV shows apart from portraying the character of Oscar in a Broadway production.

Jerry Orbach was extremely talented who played the role of Detective Lennie Briscoe from 1991-2004 in the show. The actor who died in the year 2004 due to prostate cancer, was even on the list of nominees for three primetime Emmy awards. He is also famous for portraying the character of Jack Houseman in “Dirty Dancing” and was also a very good author.
