Tanna Marino is married and has four children, living together in Texas. She has been was working and putting in all she can to feed her family. But her family was still struggling to make ends meet and the long hours were draining her. With all of her children depending on her, she had to look for a means to earn some more money quickly. Tanna was taking care of them while working a full-time job. So you can already imagine how busy and hectic her life was. It was constant work both in and out of the home. A Television Star

When Tanna Marino was invited to star in a brand new TV show, she was very intrigued; who wouldn’t be? If somebody calls you on the phone and offers you a unique opportunity, you can’t help but be interested. All Tanna knew at the beginning was that the show was called Don’t Quit Your Day Job and, given the opportunity to become a potential television star, Tanna said yes. A New Job

After getting hired, Tanna started her training to be well-versed in her role as an appliance technician. After 2 years of doing this, she was now appearing on a new TV show. There was a woman who was following her on this show, waiting to see if Tanna would opt for a career change. This was what Tanna thought was happening, in her head. The Revelation

When the filming of what Tanna thought was ‘Don’t Quit Your Day Job’ got over, Marino got an invitation to go to her boss’ house. When she got there, she did not expect much to happen. She did not realize that she was about to get the shock of her life as everything was finally revealed to her. She came to Dina’s house unaware of the real reason as to why she was invited to meet her.

The Reward

You can already imagine what a struggle it was to keep every secret and hide the truth from Tanna. So when she was called to Dwyer-Owens’ home, Dina was quite the emotional wreck. She and Tanna together had a very intense meeting, that touched the hearts of people who watched the show. Dina then went ahead to give Tanna some money. She handed her $25,000, and her reason for this as she told Tana was ‘for being you’.
