Knocked Off
Ewa Wisnierska blacked out while flying in the sky that was thousands of feet above the ground. She was floating, knocked out from the lack of oxygen. She soon reached the highest point of the cumulonimbus cloud. The air was minus 50 degrees. Although she was fully covered with her dress, she was still not immune to the freezing cold she was facing. Everything from her face, gloves to the wings of her glider had turned into ice cold. Scaringly, she lacked any breathing apparatus.
Flying Against Time
With every passing minute, the chances of her survival were thinning. Perhaps she was just a moment away from her death. It was confirmed that she would die if she reaches the end point of the stratosphere. The unfortunate Ewa was still tied with her glider, floating aimlessly. If by any chance she succeeds in getting out of this situation, there is a high possibility that she would have got inflicted with organ or brain damage, or both. The passed out Ewa kept on floating for about 40 minutes in the storm cloud. It was then another tragic event took place.
Weight It Up
Ewa’s paraglider had gained a lot of weight after ice got accumulated on its surface. Suddenly, Ewa began to fall down at a terrifying speed. Imagine an unconscious girl free falling at the speed of 90 feet every second. If she keeps on plummetting at this speed, there was no chance she was going to survive this. Was she going to die?
A Miracle
Ewa Wisinierska fell two miles down when a miracle took place. Surprisingly, her glider opened up and its wing straightened out on its own. As expected this limited the speed of her falling. This constant thrust jerked her out of her unconsciousness. After gaining her consciousness back, she realized that she is still trapped inside the thunderstorm.
Middle Of The Sky
She was in a difficult situation! Neither she was going up nor going down. She had got herself stuck in the middle of the air. Again surrounded with lightning and hail, she was unable to do anything to save herself. Moreover, she was still covered with ice and was moving gradually. She had no brakes in her hand and her gloves had gone encased in ice. Trembling with cold, she was powerless to reach them. How was she going to handle this problem?
Searching Her
The panic had taken over the people by now in Manilla, an Austrailian town. The German team was doing every possible at their length to find out Ewa Wisnierska. They were completely clueless about her whereabouts. Soon the team was tipped off by Gerald who informed them that the cloud had sucked her up. No doubt, the news scared them to death.
