Critical Situation
Todd wouldn’t have been worrying so much if this was a regular scenario. Lucas would have already attacked the two men even before they could surprise the cop. But unfortunately, the dog who acted as the backbone for the cop was stuck inside the police car which was locked. What would the dog do now?
The Scenario
Chief Investigator Glenn Grannan later explained the whole scenario and said: “While Frazier had been looking in the car window at the “passed out” bait with his back to the woods, the two men had snuck up on him, seemingly out of nowhere, and ambushed him from behind”. This was indeed a fatal scenario, why were the men behind the cop? And what would he do now?
Panic
Todd panicked as he was unable to think of any way through which he could save his life. Would he give up and let them harm him? Or would he find a way out, but how? All the odds were against him, the men were trying to get a grip on him and he was constantly thinking as to how he could save himself. What would he do now?
Hope
After they had successfully clasped his hands, they started to drag him towards the forest. Now he had to do something if he wanted to get out of this situation. His mind started to run in different directions and then an idea clicked inside his mind but to execute that he had to be really careful. What was his plan?
Plan
While they were dragging him towards the forest he carefully managed to wriggle one hand free and pushed a small button that was hanging from a cord beneath his shirt’s collar. Luckily, the three perpetrators didn’t notice him as he triggered the button that had the potential to change the odds of the whole situation. What was that button for? Would that alert another cop or trigger an alarm?
Secret Button
Just when he triggered the button, it popped the car open. Lucas was impatiently waiting inside the car and was already trying to find a way to get out. He was already on the high alert because he had sensed that the cop was in some danger. When Todd clicked that button he jumped out of the car to save the cop. Would the dog be able to save him without any help or call out for help?
