This Pitbull Becomes An Inspiration For The World When Denied To Give Up

As soon as Jonah was cleared of all his medical procedures, he went home with the Sewells, who are experienced with special needs fosters. He settled in wonderfully at first but just a few days in, his forelimbs completed malfunctioned.

“He was walking out in the hallway and all of a sudden his front legs gave out,” Sewell spoke as she told the interviewer about Jonah’s struggles. “The vet said because he was so malnourished during his first few weeks of life, his muscles and tendons were especially weak.”

Because his front legs were not functioning, the poor puppy was given leg braces. He got used to them quickly and even used them as a means to get treats from his new foster parents.

“A big part of our training with Jonah has been teaching him to wait patiently while we prepare his dinner,” Sewell further explained. “So he will sit and wait, but gets so excited that he won’t stop tapping his paws on the floor.”

He had worn the braces for more than just a few days and he began to show improvement.  Jonah was also eating extra meals to improve his nutrition and pretty soon he was all better.

All the nutritious food and braces did help Jonah to physically improve but the love from his foster sister, Ariel, has been just as healing. He always needed this.
