Exene Cervenka is one underrated rockstar that paved the way for many other females. Cervenka had a band called X that was one of the pioneering bands in the punk genre. Their albums Los Angeles and Wild Gift were rated as one of the 500 best albums of all time by Rolling Stone. They have reunited and are regularly performing.
