Laura was adamant that she won’t let go of Jack. When her parents did not approve of their relation, Laura knew what she had to do next. She decided to move in with her beau. However, seven years later, the only regret she had was that she should have listened to her parents.
Tough Life
Laura and Jack completed their graduation and on the convocation day itself, Laura shifted to Jack’s one bedroom apartment. The house was extremely low on space, the heat never worked there, the walls were faded and in short, the house was in poor condition. But as they were much in love, nothing bothered them until the odd days began to surface themselves around.
Helping Hand
To Laura, Jack was her everything. Just to be with him and to make their lives beautiful together, she offered him financial help by working as a waitress in a steakhouse near to their place. There she started earning reasonable tips that helped the duo live decently. However, the tables turned when she heard some rumors about Jack.
Speculations
After completing her shift at the steakhouse, Laura would often visit Jack’s place of work, the bar where he was the bartender. She did so just to spend some time with him, but soon this ritual of visiting her husband made her uncomfortable. People at the bad gave her odd stares and she overheard a few women saying, “Jack”. And one night she found the unexpected.
The Speaking Walls
After a point, these stares and rumors became unbearable for Laura and she started sobbing, she rushes to the women’s bathroom where these rumors got an edge. The bathroom was a diary. The walls were painted with hearts and Jack written on them. What she saw next broke her heart.
Affairs And Kisses
The walls had phone numbers and some kiss marks. Amongst those numbers one name and that was common was that of Jack. Laura had tears rolling down her cheeks. She left her family, is working as a waitress just to support Jack and here he was betraying her. What will Laura do now?
