Valeria is aware that it is her unique beauty that catches anyone’s attention in the first place and she plans to use that as a ploy. Lukyanova strongly believes in her ideas which she thinks are incomprehensible for some people, even beyond them. She plans to transfix the audience with her beauty and when she has their attention she plans to guide them to the spiritual realms with her.
The Space Barbie Unveiled
A title that Lukyanova has attained apart from human Barbie is Space Barbie. Not because she has posed in some space suit costume or anything but because of these beliefs of hers. This is a still from one of her meditation videos where she is supposed to be in a trance. She often dresses as a mystic surrounded by stars and holding snakes.
Being so unnaturally thin obviously brought her admiration but there is another class of people who are against the very concept of Human Barbie.
No Makeup
As you have seen until now, most of Lukyyanova’s pictures show her all painted in makeup to give her the Barbie-like appearance but now and then she posts no-makeup pictures of her for her fans to prove that she is naturally beautiful. She once said that she can’t “understand people who are ashamed to be without any makeup on”.
She has received backlash too, she was even attacked.
The Price Of “Perfect”
People tend to forget the ‘human’ in Human Barbie and in many interviews, Lukyanova has talked about being hurt for being seen more as an object than a living being. She revels in the attention she gets for having a unique figure and looks but she does not want to be looked at as just a face or a body. People are mean too, evil actually as this incident shows.
The Attack
It was the night of Halloween in 2014 when Lukyanova was returning to her home when two men attacked her right outside her house. They strangled and beat her and it was only the fortunate presence of a neighbor that saved Lukyanova. She was taken to the hospital and according to her it all “happened so fast” that she had no time to decide what to so. She is subject to these physical assaults and criticisms more than you’d think.
