They exchanged vows there, making headlines in newspapers and magazines. 17 months after their dream wedding,  the Gossip lead-singer and her lover Kristin Ogata legally tied their knot in Oregon sealing the deal.

Both T. Jones and Bjorn Amelan had dated people before meeting each other. Both their former partners have died and the two were able to move on with their lives. Soon they found love in each other. Jones said in an interview that although the two discussed the idea of getting married before, they did not need marriage vows to prove their love to each other and that they are content with each other’s love and company for the time being.

She acquired a master’s degree in Fine Arts. They met through a mutual friend.

The two lovebirds, who have been enthusiastic supporters of adoption, adopted their first child in 2010. A kid named Zion, who at the time was 5 years old.
