Can’t Help It
The baby elephant was itself trying to make attempts to get out of the pit as can be seen in the video, the people recording it could not go and help as they were tourists and were probably afraid to go too near the most gigantic animals on planet earth. The elders of the herd too, seem to be failing at their attempts of freeing the baby.
Calling All
By this time the entire herd had gathered around the pool and was simply waiting for its member to be free so that they could move ahead. They had answered to the calls of the elder females of the family who had been trying to get the baby out. The environment seemed to grow tense and then something happened and the herd was forced to abandon their little one.
Evasion!
While the herd was trying to work out a way to help the little one to be free there came a disturbance. Out of nowhere came a jeep of men which seemed to be trying to make all the elephants go away. It was moving in circles, trying to break the herd. Of course, the giant animals freaked out, it is not every day that they encounter a thing traveling so fast on wheels.
Everywhere But There
Most of the young ones got scared and actually started moving away from the area. The little one, however, was stuck and as can be seen from the video- the elders refused to leave. One of the biggest and heaviest mammals on the earth is not used to being messed with so it is no surprise that elders of the herd got pissed when these aliens on jeep tried to halt their rescue operation.
Triggered
The video quite vividly records the angry grunts of the elder members of the herd. They stood their ground for a long long time but eventually even they were made to leave because rest of the herd was panicking and they decided to leave the one little baby behind in order to take care of the rest of the herd. But who were these men in the jeep and why had they disturbed these elephants and forced them to abandon the little member?
Power Rangers
It is the duty of rangers to help keep the jungle and forest in order. Often animals land themselves into trouble with humans or by falling into pits and wells. The rangers help to rescue these animals and if possible reunite them with their family. They regularly patrol the areas allotted to them to see that nothing is out of ordinary or if an animal is in need of their help. When the rangers saw the herd of elephants gathered near the baby and unable to help him, they decided to take the task in their hands but it was not easy.
