Kylee was not a fan of iPhones or diamond rings or luxurious dinner nights. For her spending some time with the people, she loved the most was the best thing in the world. Kylee never ran behind the worldly temptations such as gifts and presents. Materialistic things were never tempting for her. Jeff loved this thing about her and admired her even more.
He Splurged
Looking for a gift for someone who is not so much into it, is a big time problem that anyone will understand. Jeff was going through the same trouble but the guy was enjoying it anyway. After all, he was doing all this for Kylee. He was looking into all the options he had on his list that she might like… Well, for some reasons this gift will never make its way to Kylee on time. Frugal But Happy
Both Jeff and Kylee valued money and their work. None of them belonged to a rich family. They started working from an early age. They earned their living and it was sometimes it wasn’t easy at all to survive. Jeff knew that a little spending will not harm anyone so he decided to select the right thing for his lady. Who knew that anything that he was planning to make her happy will spoil in a moment.
Birthday Special
The night before her birthday, Kylee was going to stay over Jeff’s place. She wanted to be with him at the start of a new year of her life. No doubts that Jeff was the first person to wish her happy birthday before she blew the candles off the cute delicious cake Jeff cooked himself. Although there was no gift for her that night she was still feeling like the happiest person. Jeff knew that the gift will be arriving by morning so he was patiently waiting so that he could surprise her with it, first thing in the morning.
Gift Arrived
The day was here, and the gift was supposed to arrive at Jeff’s place. He even received a confirmation message from the online store from where he bought the item that it has been delivered. As a matter of fact, he didn’t recall anyone ringing the bell. He thought that as it was a prepaid order, the delivery boy might have left the gift in the porch.
Where Was It?
There was nothing on the porch. So, Jeff went to look for the order in his front lawn. Surprisingly, the package wasn’t there either. He was assuming that the package was kept at some odd place by the delivery guy. Quite possible when someone has a lot of packages to deliver, right? To his disappointment, the gift was nowhere.
