Far Far Away

“A tiger does not shout its tigritude, it acts, ” are the words of Wole Soyinka, the first African Nobel Prize winner in the category of Literature.

Timur falls aside and the tiger didn’t care about his friend anymore, not at that moment at least. Was Timur dead? Was that all to their story? But what actually happened that such close friends ended up like that? You’ll be astonished by what we are gonna to tell you about the breath-taking moment.

Bullying A Tiger

This was getting obvious for their fans, though it was a disappointment they believed that the tiger hit Timur to eventually have his lunch while the truth was opposite as explained by the head of the park, Dmitry Mezentsev, “Timur went beyond all limits. He pushed Amur away from their hill with his horns; he butted him with his horns and kicked him with his legs.” But what made Amur react so aggressively towards his bestie?

Proved As A Bad Idea

Timur had no idea what his acts were going to result in but Amur had enough of this guy now and “Finally, the tiger couldn’t hold back, grabbed the goat by the withers and tossed him,”  the park director explained in an interview.  However, one fact cannot be ignored and that’ll be Amur not eating Timur! The story has just started to get interesting as Amur did all that with an intention that you’ll know soon.

A Lifetime’s Lesson?

The director further added, “Timur pushed Amur down the slope, poked him with his horns and legs, and finally stepped on Amur while he was sleeping. Amur woke up, grabbed Timur with his teeth, shook him like a kitten, and threw him away. Then he lay down to rest again.”  As per him, Amur just wanted to teach Timur a lesson for a lifetime that he never dares to irritate the big cat the same way ever again, that’s a smart move as the tiger’s intention wasn’t to kill his friend! So, was his friend even alive to even learn his lesson?

Help Arrived

The staff members of the park immediately distracted the tiger with a live rabbit and took out Timur from where he was lying on the snow. The irony of the moment is the caretakers who actually pushed the goat in the enclosure as Amur’s live prey were now trying to save his life. Another question arose in your mind too right? We’ve all the answers for you are right in the next slide.

Why Do They Care?

An animal care organization, The Dodo has stated, that Timur and Amur have been the reason for the park’s recognition and international publicity. All that has increased the monetary worth of the goat who has been in news headlines and has been on a journey of becoming a prey and later becoming a sensational image! The two are sure a huge profit to the Safari Park. So were they able to save the poor guy?
