Expected Reaction
Chase the male goat, grab him by his neck and hit him on the surface and then just do what tigers do! That’s what was expected from every tiger and that’s what Amur has been doing for the past years but something didn’t seem quite right this time, and no there was nothing wrong with the goat, he was just a part of Amur’s diet and that’s what he was meant to be according to the zookeepers at least!
What Actually Happened?
The two were about to give the world a heartwarming holiday story. Let’s just present a clear picture in front of you. Amur sensed the presence of his meal, in his area and he was aware he could eat the goat anytime but that didn’t happen. Rather the two were least bothered by each other at first! We’re still not so much into telepathy and so we can’t really say what goes on anyone’s mind.
Not Being Goat Like
It was strange that when Amur saw the goat, he didn’t run away, which was meant to be a normal reaction. Now how Amur was supposed to hunt his prey when the goat wasn’t even interested in playing ‘the chasing around game’ at first? In short, the goat wasn’t even behaving like a prey and that eventually freaked-out Amur.
Not The First Story!
In the words of a philanthropist of Amur Tiger Preservation Fund, “There are situations when a tamer and a predator share the same premises. But if the man shows signs of fear the predator quickly gets the point. The same may happen to Timur if one day he thinks of himself as a victim.” So was that it or there was something more to the story! Definitely, there was.
Yet Familiar Endings
As the goat wasn’t behaving like prey and maybe the tiger wasn’t willing for that type of efforts or maybe he just wasn’t hungry, though it was time for his daily meal. Amur then just preferred to ignore the goat’s presence in his kingdom as something irrelevant. “It happened once before, another goat pushed back and the tiger decided not to eat him, but once he showed weakness – that was it – his predator killed him,” said the observers. But this was an entirely different level of weirdness!
Strange Denial
“But recently he came across a goat that he refused to hunt,” the keepers explained. It was all too unrealistic to believe, the goat was supposed to be scared and Amur was supposed to have his lunch anyway! How long you think possibly the goat could survive? How long could Amur resist? Well, what happened later on is just going to put you in a state of disbelief. But we’ve proofs right here for you!
