After they cleared up after finding all of the items, the stamps that were collected were quite interesting. They then realized that these stamps came from multiple countries around the world. You could imagine how old these stamps are when we say that some of the countries that these stamps belonged to are not in existence anymore.
There Is No Genie
They then found something that sparked their curiosity. The family was very much glued to all their discoveries. They were particularly interested in this lamp, maybe even hoped that a wish-granting magical Genie would appear. Or did they just say the phrase wrong?
Sparkles Galore
The plastic box actually had a few valuables in them. Then again, just like all the other artifacts, these too called for intense cleaning before actually finding out their true value. The content here was as you would imagine, pleasantly surprising.
The Coins
When they first saw them, they appeared to be just very rusty discs. On a closer inspection, they realized that they were actually more than meets the eye. The man took a closer look at these items in the hopes that they may be of value, rather than just random findings.
International Coins
They realized that these coins held way to much sentimental value so money was not in the equation. They discovered that the coins came from Southern Rhodesia, New Zealand, Australia, USA, South Africa, Jamaica, Pakistan, Cuba, United Arab Emirates, and Venezuela. Incredible right?
War Hero Ancestry
Real treasures started popping up. After they could open the other compartments they found a WWI medal and crest. The family was indeed very pleased to see that the relic had been discovered. They truly were fighters and many freedom fighters were their ancestors.
