Klynn wanted to do much more for the officer than offering him a personal thank you. She uploaded her story on a Facebook public post. She wished that the entire world should know about the selfless act of this officer and how had he impacted the life of a little girl for the good. In her post, she again thanked her hero and says that she would remember him forever. He was and will always be her waving friend.
Inspirational Story
Klynn’s Facebook Post garnered worldwide attention. More and more people read her story and commented in the honor of the police officer. Not only this but people started valuing their instincts and even shared their own experiences and stories. Through this post, a million people were able to thank these real-life heroes and appreciated the work they do for us.
A Special Gift
Just to remember her hero all her life, Klynn gifted herself something special. She got herself a metal bracelet on which was embossed, “Sgt. Jeff Colvin, A True Hero.” It also had Jeff’s badge number and the year in which he saved her life. In order to show how much does Jeff mean to her, she wore this bracelet all her life. Surely, it must be a priceless moment every time Jeff saw Klynn wearing it.
Dreams Come True
Klynn was able to turn her dreams into reality. She had worked hard and was able to get herself admitted into the Police Army. She was accepted as a member of the force. She expressed her joy by writing a facebook monologue. She even says that she too would like to be a “hero” just like her favorite cop and serve her nation and country and most importantly the people.
Graduation Ceremony
Not only did she expressed her gratitude towards Jeff in her post but Jeff too was a part of it. How? On her graduation ceremony, Jeff flew all the way to Houston to congratulate his dear friend. He was a part of graduation function at the Police Academy and was extremely proud to find Klynn all dressed as an officer. His little friend was now a full-fledged official police officer.
Super Momma
Klynn had a very tough childhood. Right from taking care of her younger brothers to stealing food to feed them, she had faced it all. She had faced all the hardships in life and have stood as a strong woman today who is a respectable Police constable today. It was not it. She had a life of her own as well. She was a mother to two beautiful children.
