SimranAwaited Call
So after the phone had rung several times, she finally picked up the phone. It was the same person whose car she had hit and left the note on. The woman introduced herself as Jenica. For a moment Sydnee was afraid that Jenica might burst out in anger, so she started apologizing for the same even before she could speak and offered to pay for the damage too. Would she forgive after her seeing her honesty?
Unanticipated Behavior
To her surprise, Jenica, the person’s car she had hit was extremely calm and acted normally when she apologized and suggested a meet up to exchange information. She had apprehensions in her mind but agreed to meet up. The whole day she was thinking what would she say but the person seemed quite decent to her so she calmed herself down.
Waiting For The Owner
The woman had already told her where they had to meet but she was unaware of her appearance so she thought she would call her after she had reached the place. So at the suggested timing she reached there and waited for her while looking in all directions. While her eyes wandered, she saw a man looking in her direction and he waved at her.
A Stranger
The man was sitting on the table next to hers and started to talk about why she was here. She was a bit reluctant to give him an answer. He looked amiable so she told him that she had accidentally hit a car and now she was waiting for the car’s owner to turn up so she could have a conversation with her to solve the matter. Who was that man and why was he taking interest in her matters?
Listening Inquisitively
He didn’t stop there and shifted to the same table as that of Sydnee’s and started listening to her more inquisitively. The man then told her about his own experience and asked her if the lady whose car she had hit was nice. To this, she replied positively saying that the lady on the call was extremely calm and nice as what she could make her from her instinct.
Giving Suggestions
His reply was somewhat unexpected and made her reluctant on her decision of leaving the note on the wipers of the car. He said ” That’s the words though, the one that sounds nice are usually like that’s just..” and he trailed off in the middle of the sentence. Why was he saying such things to Sydnee out of the blue?
