Can’t Handle The Truth
The moment she disconnected the call, Kayla was out of her mind. Her frustration was too much to handle and she knew she wouldn’t just cry the night out and forget what happened but do something about it. She right away called her so-called boyfriend and made it very clear to him. The truth was there was no reason for the delivery man to lie.
Pants On Fire
As it was expected, her boyfriend wasn’t clean at all and he was not admitting it at first. But Kayla wasn’t going to believe him this time, she told him that how the delivery boy knew everything. He even lied to her again and stated that it wasn’t him but his friend. She told him about his sign and now she was done. No matter how much she loved the guy she could never be with a cheater again.
Taking To The Keyboard
As soon as she hangs up the phone, she took to Twitter to share what just happened to her. She wrote everything that happened in the evening. Her sad yet motivating story got more than 3,000 likes and shares. The crowd was sympathetic towards her and one stranger took a step ahead when he noticed her story.
Corporate Level
When everyone was cheering her up a person contacted her. He was a representative from Jimmy John’s restaurant itself. The person who handles the company’s official Twitter account read her story and took pride in the kind sandwich delivery boy. The restaurant’s online representative came up with a great idea though.
Brilliant Idea
Jimmy John’s delivery man kept his personal views aside and even in the awkward moment decided to tell the truth to Kayla. Understanding Kayla’s pain, the restaurant chain wanted to do something for her. They came up with an offer of throwing a break-up party for the girl. But she was still not over of the betrayal and jokes aside she didn’t feel she was ready for it yet.
All The Way Up
The company’s chief marketing officer, John Shea too noticed all this and said, “We’re freaks about everything we do, from our products to our process. And customer service is no exception.” But how was everyone’s take on it?
