Kayla’s couldn’t believe what this guy on the other line was saying. According to the delivery man, her boyfriend was sitting on the couch wearing his boxers but he wasn’t alone there. As far as Kayla remembered, he stayed alone and never prefers group studies. What he said next was just too much to handle.
A Mysterious Guest
As per the delivery man, there was a naked woman who walked inside the room sat on top of Kayla’s boyfriend. Kayla’s heart skipped a beat. A stranger on the other line was telling her that her boyfriend was dating someone else behind her back. Should she even believe this Jimmy John’s guy?
Second Guessing
It was an awkward moment. Kayla didn’t have any way to understand why this was happening with her. Most importantly she can’t know the truth all by herself. In nervousness, she laughed trying to ignore what she just heard. Her positive aspect towards life was still on and she was hoping that all this was just a prank and her boyfriend, as well as the delivery man, was a part of it.
Last Ditch
Kayla started putting counter questions with the delivery man to catch his lies. She asked for a description of her boyfriend’s appearance, even to verify his address and the amount of the bill and the name he mentioned in his signature. She even questioned him about the car that was parked outside his place. This wasn’t all.
All Correct?
At first, she was doubting on the delivery boy but when he answered everything, it shattered Kayla’s hopes. She understood there was no reason for him to lie. This wasn’t all that delivery boy had to say. He had more to tell Kayla.
An Awkward Admission
The delivery boy told Kayla how awkward all this has been for him. He told her he was quite annoyed with what he saw and left the place as quickly as possible. And it took a lot of strength to make this call. This one call changed everything for Kayla. But in the time of darkness, we get to know who are actually going to hold our hands. Kayla knew what she has to do next.
