Kayla was super excited as she herself was feeling special that day only because the restaurant agreed to her request. She could imagine the smile on her boyfriend’s face when he’ll receive the order. She felt worth patting herself.
Unexpected Call
It was almost three and a half hours since she placed the order. She was expecting a call from her boyfriend at this time. Yes, she received a call but not from him but from an unknown number. As always she let the Truecaller app show who was calling her and it was a call from Jimmy John’s. But why?
Strange Caller
When she answered the call, it was the Jimmy John’s representative who went out to deliver the order to Kayla’s boyfriend. She asked him the reason for his call, thinking he might be calling her to inform that he successfully delivered the order. Unfortunately, the guy had something more to tell Kayla.
An Unfortunate Phone Call
Kayla now thought that maybe he couldn’t locate her boyfriend’s place or if he did, her boyfriend might have fallen asleep and didn’t answer the call. That wasn’t the case either. The boy on the call was hesitating and Kayla could sense it pretty well. This call had a far more different reason that wasn’t at all related to the order.
Gloomy Side
The Jimmy John’s delivery man after telling her that it wasn’t about the order paused on the call. Then he informed her that her present was received by her boyfriend. But this wasn’t a confirmation call but a call to deliver the gloomy news. He continued and told Kayla what he saw when he reached her boyfriend’s place.
Peering Inside
When he rang the doorbell, he could see inside the place from the window. As nobody turned up to get the delivery for around 15 minutes, he looked through the window. What he saw next was unexpectedly shocking and he just couldn’t keep it hidden from Kayla. The girl couldn’t make sense of what he was talking about.
