Imitates

Lyrebird is also bestowed upon with the quality of imitating natural and man-made sound both. Sir David Attenborough got so inspired by this species that he even featured them in his series named Life of Birds.

The bird can make sound both beautiful and harsh. Apart from that, they are also very good at producing sounds of a car engine. And sometimes they even imitate the bark of a dog. What else? Well, there is more! The bird can also produce a sound similar to bells or alarms.
