Great Role Models

Great Role Models

There are others officers in the Fort Wayne Police Department that are doing more than their duties for the communities. They try to be the role models for the youth that dream of being something someday. The police department even throws a Special Olympics breakfasts, safety fairs, and passport to Manhood programme. The department even handed middle school students bicycle lights and that too free of cost. They also made pink badges to distribute to the community battling with breast cancer to show their support towards them. The conclusion is the department is doing their job along with making a world a better place.

Terri was alone and terrified that night, but Officer Hunter from the Fort Wayne Police Department made sure that she feels safe. He was there for her even it was getting late for him as he has a family too who waits for him to be back from work safely. Today, Terri feels safe because she knows there are officers like Officer Hunter who has got her back.

Let’s go back and see what actually happened that night that made Terri feel so terrified.

What Happened That Night?

That night Terri who thought was alone in the Erin’s House for grieving children got late from the work she had after her shift got over. The janitor of the building was also there but because of the power cut, Terri didn’t see him and it was his footsteps that made her afraid that night.

Terri’s Car

In the parking lot, which was already empty except Terri’s car made Officer Hunter a little suspicious. He was patrolling the area and to check on this only car in the parking lot he parked his further from that car to properly investigate the situation. Due to the power cut, he couldn’t see anyone inside the building and by the time Terri exited the building he was already busy checking the back of the building.

Shadow Game

So, Officer Hunter who was still at the back of the building didn’t see Terri coming out of the building and it was his shadow that Terri saw from her car. Terri who was already afraid of everything that was happening with her, this shadow spiked her terror over her limits. Later Officer Hunter saw Terri coming out of the car and it was then he switched on the headlights of his car to take a good look at the person. But why it took him this long to act? There’s a reason for that too.

The Reason

Being a policeman, Officer Hunter has this vigilant nature and because of that, he thought it would be better to read the situation first. That person he was staring at from his car could be some sort of a danger and as he was alone he thought of waiting and then reacting. When he was ready he moved towards Terri in his car and she was looking pale and terrified. She was no danger but a person who was alone in the parking lot that night. But what happened to the janitor?
