The janitor left her in the parking lot to bring some help and Terri could see the smoke coming out from the back of the car which slowly was coming towards her. The shadowy figure was coming towards her, gulping her saliva in nervousness she could feel the terror slowly taking over her through her skin giving her unusual feeling of uneasiness. Who could it be? The next shook her to the core.
Taking A Deep Breath
Because of all the terror, she wasn’t able to concentrate what was coming towards her. The car stopped beside her and something was written on the side of the car. She stood up to clear her vision which was blurred because of the sweat on her forehead. She read the text that was written on the car and to her surprise, it was the Fort Wayne Police Department. Terri could feel terror moving out from her body making it light. Her head was not aching anymore and she felt safe. But there was another surprise that shocked her that night.
Keeping Her Safe
Terri was relieved to see a cop standing in front of her. She kept thanking him over and over again but it was the cop’s reply that stole the heart of many people when Terri posted about her experience on Facebook. This policeman’s reply made the post viral and soon it everybody could talk about was Officer Hunter of the Fort Wayne Police Department. What was his reply that made the story this viral?
His Response
Terri wrote his reply on her Facebook post, “I walked over to thank him, and he told me that he specifically came back because he saw that there was only one car left in the parking lot and he wanted to make sure the driver (me) got to the car safely!” Officer Hunter’s reply was applauded by many people for the commendable work he did that night.
Taken Care Of
That night the cop saw only one car that was Terri’s in the parking lot. She told about some amazing work Officer Hunter do, “After talking, I learned that, through many different avenues, he is a mentor to the youth in our area! How lucky are we to have such an amazing man keeping us safe! Thank you, Officer Hunter! You blessed my night tonight!” To Terri, he came like a guardian angel that night. But the appreciation didn’t stop from the people over Facebook but there was more for Officer Hunter.
Well Deserved Praise
The Fort Wayne Police Department has always tried to make people safe and hearing about Officer Hunter’s action they even posted on their Facebook page saying, “We are proud to have Officer Quinton Hunter as a member of the Fort Wayne Police Department!” Even we are proud to have cops like Officer Hunter in the department that ensures that we are safe wherever we are.
