NathanExpect The Unexpected
Since the couple did not plan on conceiving a fourth child, Matt was completely amazed that his darling wife was carrying his child. Even though there was planning ahead and the couple was in disbelief, to say that they were both happy would be an understatement. Rebecca even described that Matt “was only home for a short time” between his deployments, so this was a huge shock.
One More Surprise
But then, you know that these kinds of things never actually go according to plan. You only have to get it right once, to get pregnant. So although the couple did not make prior plans, Rebecca was expecting. They were ecstatic nonetheless. However, there was still one more news waiting to be uncovered in the corner that was going to receive another huge shock.
Her Side
For Matt, it was extremely hard to constantly have to keep away from his family because of his job. For Rebecca on the other hand, it was truly the biggest task for her to hide her pregnancy from her husband. She would go as far as manipulating her photos to Facebook. She would even be wearing clothes that worked as camouflage so that Matt would not be suspicious.
Creative Rebecca
“I would always use the kids to cover my belly,” she admitted, talking about how careful she was while dressing herself. “My best friend always does Snapchats and she would put emojis in front of it just in case to throw him off.” Keeping her pregnancy with her husband made it very hard for Rebecca to live life normally, but Matt was completely unaware.
How Did She Do It?
Rebecca had a tough time keeping her pregnancy from her sailor husband. However, she was very pleased that she could inform him about her baby bump, the way she did in the end. “I wanted to share the excitement and joy with him about getting a fourth baby. He definitely wasn’t expecting it,” she explains. Must be nice to come home to a surprise as good as this.
Hard To Hide It
She did feel bad at times because her partner was not aware of her having a bun in the oven. Well, it should be a little weird to keep such a serious thing as pregnancy a secret from your husband. “Being pregnant is such a fun experience and not being able to share it with him it was really hard. I was working the whole time and taking care of the kids so I had to push through everything.”
