Separated From Mom
We all know that all animals need their mothers too. It would have been devastating for Zion to have lost his mom. He got separated from his mother as a cub because of the fact that his father would try to kill him.
Getting Rescued
It was fortunate for him because he was rescued by Frikkie who has taken up time and effort to make sure the lion grows into the best he possibly can. He has spent a whopping 11 years under the care of Frikkie who had managed to tame the fearsome lion.
No Shoe Noises
The pair behaves like father and son to the point where Frikkie needs to take some precaution when they take their daily walks. Zion has a thing with Frikkie’s shoes. He prefers that his caretaker walks without his shoes because the noise irritates him.
BFFs
The two have spent so much time together and are basically best of friends. The 11-year-old lion and 69-year-old caretaker look like best friend goals whenever they step outside because they show so much affection towards each other.
