Eating Habits

Since she had both of her parents working, they would often allow her to eat from outside which eventually meant she would munch upon junk food from restaurants. Moreover, she could not learn enough about healthy eating habits. The situation worsened when her mother was completely bed-ridden and she had no other option than getting meals from the market.

Solace In Food

After her mother’s sudden demise, Racheal began finding solace in food. She would subconsciously reach out to another packet of potato chips even though she would have just finished one. She craved the sweet soda like that of soft drinks. Her meals were far from healthy. Rather she would have 4 large bottles of drinks every single day.

New Year Resolution

During her college break, Racheal made a tough call. She decided to make a new year resolution. She was sure that this time she will make a big change. She would lose weight and would turn into a healthy and happy self. She knew that fitness is not a joke and is a lifestyle and she was ready to step into the new shoes. She made herself a goal to shed nearly 139 pounds which were approximately half her body size.

Changing Lifestyle

Racheal was so determinant that she brought new jogging shoes and was ready to put the plan into action. Right from the next day, she began with her morning walks and jogging sessions. She did not stop there, rather she made some unbelievable changes in her eating routine.

Healthy Eating

Most of us are aware of healthy eating habits and its benefits. But not many of us generally follow that. Racheal returned to college and gave up on the junk food from the canteen. She started having a protein-rich and low-fat diet. She was making every possible change that would help her shed weight.

A Tough Fight

The transformation was not this easy as it seems. No one loses pounds munching salad. It demands a lot more. Racheal initially had to struggle and continuously motivate herself to keep going with this new routine. Her body was used to a particular amount of sweet and sugar and a sudden deprivation of these made her crave sweets. It was her determination that helped her achieve it.
