Staying Home
Alivia would play would the deer and she enjoyed feeding it and spending time with it very much. The time for them to part ways would definitely be a hard blow for poor Alivia. They knew that keeping away the deer would be the best way to go about it, even if it means that Alivia would be very saddened.
On Its Way Home
The deer now needed to go back to its natural habitat. Many volunteers helped in keeping the animal back to its original place. “The first wooded area straight off the island, we set him down and let him go back into the woods,” Joe had said in an interview.
Back To The Woods
But the question remains as to how the poor deer would fend for itself and if the mother is still alive or not? Since rescuing it, they could not help but feel sorry for the poor deer. They were very confused on how to move forward with the animal.
Setting Bambi Free
The rescuers soon found the perfect place to release the poor deer in. As soon as they reached the spot, the deer pranced toward the countryside. It was indeed a commendable job to be able to keep the deer back to its original surrounding where it belongs.
Back To Safety
The deer immediately adapted t its environment as it is actually where it belongs. Since there are a lot of deer in the area they kept it in, the knew that the baby deer would be safe. After keeping an eye on it for a while they left the deer alone, knowing that it would not be troubled anymore.
A Deer Memory
Joe can now tell this special anecdote everywhere he goes now. “To even see a deer in the lake, you would never think that, you know?” said Guy Peterson who was on board the boat too. He said, “A lot of my buddies are saying to me, ‘Are you going to go hunting in the woods and find a fish?’ It is something you don’t see every day though.”
