Other Participants
When the Duff family found the treasure in less than 24 hours and started with their celebrations, some of the other participants were still struggling with the clues. One of the frustrated participants said. “I think that I need a closure that it has been found and the search is over.”
Company’s Roles
The Gold Hunt company told that the participants were looking at the wrong place. They reminded them of the rules and regulation that clearly stated no trespassing, no digging and no running through the forest. They have made sure that no one’s property is damaged but some participants did not follow the rules and some property was damaged.
Earlier Winner
While the Duff family was celebrating their change of fortune, there was a limo driver who was also on cloud nine. This man participated in Gold Hunt when a passenger told him about this game. “What he said was that a lot of people have been going out into the community and discovering new areas because they had been looking for this gold,” Marko Cerda said when he was asked about how he came to know about the game.
Marko Cedera
When he was asked what was the thing that helped him the most during the game he said, “As a driver, you’re not just looking for street signs or names, you’re looking for landmarks so you can get to places quickly.” He believes that his job has given some edge as he remembers the landmarks quite well.
Calgary Hunt
When Jeff Leru heard that a family from Edmonton had won the treasure of $100,000 he taught of trying his luck. He participated from Calgary in spite of not knowing the place so well. He said being work off due to disability led to him in more debts and he deliberately wanted to take the exit from the circle of debt.
Jeff’s Plan
He told that after he brought the map he and his girlfriend spent the whole of Monday brainstorming trying to solve the puzzles and get a point from where to start. They were quick enough they got their starting point in one day and from Tuesday morning both of them went for the hunt.
