A Strange Morning With The New Dog
Not in a million years could Catherine Svilicic have imagined her recently adopted Doberman would act the way he did on that one unfortunate day. She had full trust in her dog that he would be kind and gentle to her child. What transpired between them that day, it was enough to blow her mind. But why?
Unexpected Behavior Towards Baby From The Doberman
While adopting this gentle dog, She could have never suspected that this dog of hers would show such violent tendencies. During the time of the dog’s adoption, she only had this little concern on her mind. Sometimes, the dog’s that are rescued from shelters have been known to have trouble coping with their traumatic past, which can later surface in form of behavioral issues. Still, she decided to go on with the adoption but she never suspected this from her beloved pet.
He Grabbed The Baby’s Diaper
One fine day in the yard of Svilicic ‘s house, while Khan was playing with Scilicic’s daughter, she noticed what looked as if Khan was pushing the toddler around as if provoking her to fight back, But poor Charlotte was oblivious to this hounds intentions and she just continued playing with her usual self. Then what seemed as if a fit of rage, the dog grabbed the toddlers diaper. He then proceeded to fling the toddler around the garden. In Catherine’s words, he treated her “like she was a rag doll.”
The Baby Was Safe But The Doberman Was Injured
As Catherine ran to her baby to check her body for any signs of bruises or bites, she was surprised to have found none. However, she did notice something gravely wrong with their dog Khan. He was now laying on the ground completely lifeless. While Catherine had no idea at that point as to what had happened, she soon began to panic. He got this feeling in her heart that Khan was actually trying to protect her baby from something fatal.
The Doberman Wasn’t Moving
It turns out that this dog was trying to save the little girl from a poisonous snake, but while trying to protect his little friend, it was Khan who got bitten. And although Khan was a really strong dog, he was slowly succumbing to the poison, a poison that was potent enough to kill any animal, big or small. Catherine knew she had to do something right now if she wanted to save her poor hound.
The good news!
She rushed pooch straight to the hospital where, After an excruciating 24 hour of treatment and monitoring, Khan finally gained consciousness. Catherine was over the moon upon finding that her beloved friend was alive and would make it through alright. This incident truly changed her perception of Doberman pinschers. What do you think?
