Unconditional Love
She started screaming for help as she entered the clinic and soon a ton of nurses and doctors came in to have a look at Khan. Catherine said, “if you asked me to carry his weight right now, I don’t think I’d be able to do it.” It was clear that the same bravery that had taken over Khan when he saved Charlotte from the Mulga had now dawned upon Catharine.
So How Was Khan?
Just thirty minutes later, Khan was being sent to the emergency room where a team of doctors started attending Khan, they later returned back to the room to speak to Catharine about Khan’s situation. When Catharine saw the doctors coming out of the room, she hysterically rushed to them bombarding them with questions, asking if Khan is ok? And will he make it through?
The Doctor’s Answer
It was still unclear whether Khan would recover or not. “We don’t know yet, madam. We did what we could, but now his body has to fight the poison,” he said. “The anti-venom will certainly help, but we don’t know to what extent. It’s best that you come back tomorrow morning.” It wasn’t exactly what Catherine wanted to hear, but it could’ve been much worse.
Khan’s fate
Though the doctors were unsure at first, they were soon able to determine that Khan had been bitten by a venomous snake. But unfortunately for them, they were still not sure what kind of snake had bitten Khan so they began treating him with an all-purpose anti-venom.
The good news!
After an excruciating 24 hour of treatment and monitoring, Khan finally gained consciousness. Catherine was over the moon upon finding that her beloved friend was alive and would make it through alright. This incident truly changed her perception of Doberman pinschers. What do you think?
