The Doberman Wasn’t Moving
It turns out that this dog was trying to save the little girl from a poisonous snake, but while trying to protect his little friend, it was him who got bitten. And although Khan was a really strong dog, he was slowly succumbing to the poison, a poison that was potent enough to kill an animal, big or small. Catherine knew she had to do something right now if she wanted to save her poor hound.
Catherine Tried To Save Her Brave Dog
As the entire family started heading back, they picked up Charlotte and handed off this disturbed little child to one of the family members. Once her entire family was finally safe, they proceeded to inspect Khan and his injuries. The sight in front of her was absolutely heartbreaking, there lied a dog with his tongue sticking out, motionlessly on the ground.
She Took Him To The Hospital
Catharine couldn’t bear watching this poor dog in so much pain and so with the help of sheer adrenaline she picked up the hound and carried him to the car. She then drove this lifeless hounds body all the way to the vet’s office in hope that he could still be saved. As the poison was spreading through Khan’s body, Catharine started driving as fast as she could.
On The Road
Catharine was well aware of the gravity of the situation and so she sped through the traffic to get Khan to vet’s clinic. She was crying because of the sheer bravery that this dog had displayed to save her best friend. She was now driving recklessly to make sure that he got the medical attention he so desperately needed. “I never knew I was able to drive this well. I guess adrenaline does its thing,” she said.
Medical Attention
Alas, the destination was in sight, she pushed the gas to cover this final stretch as fast as possible. As she reached the clinic she slammed the breaks and frantically rushed her dog inside. She didn’t even park her car properly since all she could think of that time was to save her loyal friend.
