The Tribute
Borglum remembered to leave something about the faces they had carved onto the mountain. The poetic tribute is available for all of the public to witness. The lovely stone tribute is located at the main entrance of the tunnel.
What About Fireworks?
If you ever step inside the chambers, the contents inside would definitely give you a shock. No such documents have been kept inside the monument but rather fireworks have been kept. So many fireworks are stored inside making you wonder why there is a need for such a big arsenal of firework.
The Firework Show
The incredible amount of fireworks kept inside the hidden rooms are in fact put to a good use. There are firework shows that take place in the site. On the 4th of July every year, thousands of tourists from all over gather around to witness this remarkable sight.
Mount Rushmore’s Legacy
There are more reasons why Mount Rushmore is so iconic. The faces aren’t the only historical or legendary parts of this monument but a popular Hollywood movie had been filmed on the site. This site has allowed famous scenes from North By Northwest, with Cary Grant and Eva Marie Saint to be shot.
A Weird Discovery

Once there was even a Mount Rushmore Baseball team.The men from the construction had set up a team to boost up their bond and team spirit. When the construction wrapped up, the team eventually called it quits too but their photos are kept in the tunnel as a remembrance.
