When the scientists made the first cloned mammal(a sheep) from an adult cell, they decided to name it Dolly. The leader of the team of scientists who made it Dr, Iam Wilmut said, “Dolly is derived from a mammary gland cell and we couldn’t think of a more impressive pair of glands than Dolly Parton’s.”
