Her most recent appearance was in 2017 TV movie, Sharknado 5: Global Swarming. As she has not been playing many roles since last decade, she’s shown interest in the production field as well.

Barbara Mandrell first hit was released in 1978, Sleeping Single in a Double Bed. Her second song became more popular (If Loving You Is Wrong) I Don’t Want to Be Right. As Mandrell was an instant star, a TV show director and producer gave her an option of featuring in her own TV show which she happily accepted. For two seasons of her TV show, Barbara Mandrell, and the Mandrell Sisters, where she appeared with her sisters.
