To give everybody in the audience a huge shock, Copeland himself came onstage with tickets to Ellen’s birthday show. With him, he held a bouquet of flowers that looked absolutely magical. Gonsalves immediately rushed to her boyfriend in his military uniform straight to his arms. Even the audience could not contain their excitement, cheering and roaring as loud as possible.
A Sweet Episode
And so, for Gonsalves, this would have been one of the most memorable days ever. She ended up getting VIP tickets to Ellen’s 60th birthday show and the best surprise she could ever want. She ended up getting an unexpected emotional reunion with her deployed lover. Copeland’s effort to keep his woman happy while he was away was as sweet as the whole episode. It made the audience joyfully tearful and also the viewers at home had something to smile about.
Cutest Pair
So, to everyone’s surprise, the Naval officer ended up joining the host and his girlfriend on stage. “I just wanted to do something special for her,” Copeland revealed as he spoke about the entire plan. The couple revealed to Ellen that they had already scheduled a plan to enjoy a trip to Puerto Rico during the time Copeland was still in America. The hurricanes that occurred forced them to change plans, however.
A Generous Couple
The two had actually donated the ma trip money to Ricky Martin’s relief fund. All of the proceeds would then go to those affected by Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico. This was something that truly spoke to Ellen. The host was quite impressed by the couple’s generosity so she thought they deserved to get a phenomenal gift because of their commendable generosity.
Helping The Get Reacquainted
Ellen had also told the audience that she was awarding Gonsalves a six-night stay at a gorgeous resort in Koloa, Hawaii. It was a little sad because Ellen could not gift Copeland any gifts because he had to serve in the military. However, the host was quick to point out that Gonsalves could actually take her boyfriend along for the getaway if she wished to.
List Of Appreciations
Putting all the silly jokes aside, this couple was sure glad to be able to reunite with each other once again. Gonsalves spoke about this epic homecoming and all her words were of gratitude. And she was not shy of expressing her appreciation for the television host. After all, Ellen made it possible for her to get the amazing surprise of seeing her boyfriend after a long while and not to mention the other gifts!
