Could it be a hidden treasure buried inside the ground? There are stories about a 2,100-year-old tomb that was excavated that revealed more than 10,000 pieces of treasure. The research team was very excited after they read this report on the internet and the possibility of finding something similar made the mission even more exciting. As it was getting dark and the drones were useless during this time of night, they decided to proceed with the mission from the next day in good light with high hopes of making a discovery of the lifetime.
The Earlier Treasure
The treasure which was found that had around 10,000 pieces of treasure was something that made the news all over the China and the world. The treasure that the archeologists from the Museum of Nanjing found was the mausoleum of Liu Fei, who died in 128BC who ruled for 26 years over the kingdom of Jiangdu during the Western Han dynasty.
In the treasure they found Bronze elephants and rhinoceros models, that proved that China had foreign trade with other countries. They also found several life-size chariots and dozens of smaller chariots that had been left there to accompany the ruler into the afterlife. The archeologists told, that the complex had already been looted several times but still there were so many things that were left inside. You can imagine the burial the king got that left so many things even after it was looted so many times.
This treasure is nothing compared to the one that the research team discovered with the help of drones.
Not That Kind Of Treasure
The next day the team decided to go all in with full force and they also decided to move the drones as close as possible to the site. Hours of later after all the hard work and patience they found the answer that roamed around the mystery. They were expecting gold or something similar to that but this was more precious than gold.
It Is Home
After realizing that this place is not empty and have no sign that proves that this place was used for other purposes. They found around 3,000 people who were actually living there inside those pits that they call home. The drone footage shows around 10,000 unbelievable pits where 3,000 people are still living and some are living here for six generations. But why stay hidden after all these years? What is the history of this place and civilization? So many questions but no answers in sight. It was time for no more drones and coming back to an old-school way of knowing the truth. They decided to go to the place and meet these families in person.
Non-Traditional Location of the Town
Every great cities and civilization have flourished under the condition where they had easy availability of the water and plain terrain but this 4,000-year-old town established and flourished beneath the surface of the earth. If you have a basement in your house then you might be aware of the fact that living in the basement is not easy but that did not stop them and survived for centuries and still living there happily.

The First Meet
The team went in, saw the place and couldn’t believe their eyes. They were actually homes that had all the basic necessities. The place was so big that wherever they turned their head all they saw these unbelievable carved houses that made this place so mesmerizing and scary at the same time. Where are the people? They thought. It was all so quiet that they could hear themselves breathing heavily. Somehow this place was making them anxious because of all the suspense that was building up around them. Then an unexpected sound alarmed everyone.
