This sort of spillway, known as “morning glory” after the pipe formed bloom has an unmistakable trademark. At its mouth, the gap is 72 feet wide and highlights a 200-foot vertical drop before narrowing into a 28 all-inclusive pipe. More often than not, the Glory Hole remains on ocean level – and the detached pipe may even be mixed up for an exceptionally unusual bit of current workmanship.
